London Lightning, in partnership with UTM Fastpitch, are excited to introduce our new indoor “Spring Tune Up” event, taking place at BMO Centre in London. This new indoor event offers teams a chance to get on the field playing full 9 vs 9 games in late April.
We are accepting teams in U12, U14, U16 and U19 divisions. All teams will play 3 × 90 minute games on a full indoor field within a 6-8 hour period on either Saturday or Sunday. Some divisions may expand or contract depending on interest.
The price point for this event has been set at a break even point, meaning no organization is profiting from the registration costs.
Each diamond is 190 feet x 200 feet (at, or larger, than Softball Canada requirements for all age groups). Each diamond is separated with netting and high ceilings, and surrounded by a large, protected viewing area.
Additional Information:
– Teams will have a 15 minute warm up before each game
– Games will be 1 hour 30 minutes
– Regular indoor balls will be used
– Non-metal cleats are allowed
